Photographs of Lot 17 - Pond Cottages The cottages on Lot 17 are difficult to photograph in summer time, but they can be seen in the top right corner of this photo from the early 1990's - when the road through the village was previously closed for 3 months for re-surfacing.
This Collier postcard, from Nicky Ford's collection, is clear of trees. The cottage on the right used to be occupied by Mr. Prior, the village policeman, whose duties were described by Guy Bentley in his memories of 'Arborfield Street in 1910'.
