Photograph of Lot 6 taken in 1994

This cottage is opposite Ellis Hill Farm, and had been derelict for many years. In 1994, when it was being rebuilt, some thieves were disturbed when stripping tiles from the newly-completed roof, as this photo shows.

The Stacey family lived in the cottage in the early 1950's, moving to a retirement bungalow in Emblen Crescent when it was completed.
