This Collier photo is from Nicky Ford's collection. It shows Beech House and Arborfield Stores, which was then known as 'Seymour's Stores'. The shop name appears just below the 'Hovis Bread' letters, and the name 'Hovis' can just be seen to the left of the shop name.

There are three people in the picture; the man on the left might be Mr. Seymour. The sign above him can just be made out - it's a 'Bovril' advertisement.

The man in the white coat is accompanied by a little girl. Did she live at Beech House? The shed to the right of the main shop has the name 'F. W. Seymour'.
