Here are the few addresses for the detached portion of Wokingham in the 1861 Census. All that part of the parish of Wokingham
lying between the Turnpike Road leading from Reading to London and the
Finchampstead Road commencing from the boundary line of the said Parish near
Bear Wood Lodge and finishing at the Pin and Bowl Public House inclosure on the
Finchampstead road including Bear Wood Farm, Baker's Farm occupied by Mr
Faulconer, Limmer Hill, the Sand Gravel Pitts, Tenements belonging to Mrs. Clive
occupied by David Heifer and another, Dowles Green, Bottle Public House, the
Folly, Randall's & Evendons Farms, Cottages (?) and others near East Heath and
all houses on the said Finchampstead Road on the North & North West side
thereof, & including the Tan House, Union Workhouse & all the Houses in the
South & South West of the Reading & Reigate Railway, with that detached part of
the Parish near Arborfield Crofs and Poulters Lodge, Charles Lodge & Keepers
Cottage, Bear Wood.
